Crusing Food: Half the fun is the buffets

Food:

Cruise lines targeting families understand that childrens palates most likely differ from their parents. Which is why new dining options, such as kid friendly buffets and pizzerias are open longer hours so tired and restless children don’t have to eat in a formal dining room every night after a long day of fun. At Disney, don’t expect five star restaurant foods when dining with children. The plus is that complimentary soft drinks, lemonade and iced tea are available throughout the cruise. While Disney offers an adult only restaurant, Palo, reservations and a cover charge are required. Norwegian Cruise Lines and Princess also give families the chance to eat in the dining room whenever they want. Carnival has been reported by travelers from Foders to serve the best mainstream food. A children’s menu which includes favorites as chicken fingers, peanut butter and jelly and macaroni and cheese as well as tasty other items are also available at the Lido Buffet, which serves full meals to those who don’t feel like dressing up.
